Local Roundup: National championship softball tourney comes to town
The City of Prescott and the Arizona ASA will host the two-day 2010 Men's Class C Slow-Pitch Western Nationals at Pioneer Park starting today at 8 a.m.

The tourney, which is making its first trip to Prescott, has 22 teams from Arizona, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Idaho and Nevada.

Despite surrendering 30 points in a wild fourth quarter Friday night at Mathern Field, the Wildcats outlasted the Orme School in a marathon 66-54 victory behind bruising junior running back David Atkerson.
