Prescott City Hall - an example of a then-more modern look - turns 50
PRESCOTT - With its white walls, flat roof, and ultra-modern look, Prescott's new city hall did not exactly warm the hearts of residents of the early 1960s.

In fact, local historian and long-time resident Elisabeth Ruffner recalls that the unveiling of the building's design in 1962 generated a Prescott-style outcry.

City of Prescott asks judge to throw out firefighter's lawsuit
PRESCOTT - The City of Prescott on Friday filed a motion in federal court asking that a judge dismiss firefighter John Paul Vicente's lawsuit against the city, claiming that the individual defendants cannot be held legally liable and that he had not been "subjected to sufficient adverse action" to support his claims.
